I have been homeschooling for several years and two of mine are challenged learners. One is two years behind in reading and a year behind in math and is ODD and another has ADHD and Dyspraxia.
This book has really helped me go through the steps to take in dealing with negative learning situations and offers many suggestions on correction.
The author deals with such things as emotional survival for both yourself and your family, the different learning problems, dealing with guilt, depression, how to teach a child who won't listen and what to do when your child is hard to love and much more.
Normally, I read these homeschooling books and then get rid of them, as they are no real help, but this one is a keeper! ( )
