This is the unflattering truth behind the real story of Columbus. Modern day people sail the seas in Columbus' shadow in order to tell the neat story of sailing to the New World. It includes fantastic pictures, paintings, a couple of artifacts, maps, a compass, sextant, quadrant, etc..... fascinating!!! Its a terrific book!! It is not a "reader" but an excellent reference and teaching tool!! Grades 5-9 ( )
