A wordy dedication to our wonderful staff, supportive community, and clientele.  There's a way of life, traditional in the Northwest, characterized by a fullness of spirit.  The people who have come to The Ark express that spirit with particular grace.  No matter what form that expression takes, it characterizes them all.  Though some have gone on, we dedicate this book to them all.  To them we say, "we salute you and carry you within our hearts."
