The language that it is written in is interesting. This is a great introduction for students when studying about the world in science. There is a lot of information about what are protective factors, butterfly body part names, location, stages.
Some extensions to reading this book would to get a butterfly hatchery and let the students watch the different stages of the butter fly. The students could also pick a specific king and use the internet to find additional information. With the report the students could draw a picture of their butterfly or some other interesting insect that they choose.
