I was never a huge fan of the RPG crossover modules that became a staple of the Post-Mega Whoops campaigns, and I'm even less fond of Twilight: 2000, so my reaction to Twilightcycle: 2000 was far from positive. Infact, I would point to this module as a perfect example of the dynamic change in the second edition of Paranoia that abandoned the nihilistic charm of the original in favor of cheap revamping attempts to lure new audiences (like "crossing over" with other RPGs), resulting in many die-hard fans losing interest or walking away altogether. Even Russ Steffens' illustrations feel like a huge step backwards in both style and humor. An overall disappointment. ( )
