I'd been wanting to read a biography of Sassoon for a while. This was interesting as it put some more flesh on the fall out with Graves that I had been curious about, and also covered his later years. He never got over the war, was angry about it for the rest of his life, and all his best work poetry and prose, is connected with it. He doesn't seem to have been a particularly happy man in later life. ( )
