Jerry was impregnated by a priest and gave her daughter up for adoption. How she could call her her daughter after all those years is beyond me. In my opinion, the parents that raised her were her parents. The story tended to make you believe that cooking was a hereditary trait. The hostility at being put up for adoption angered me and I found this girl to be very ungrateful in most avenues of her life. Jerri's teenage daughter was a selfish brat, as well. ( )
