It basically means buy what you believe in. If you shop at Walmart, then you are supporting their business practices by giving them your hard earned cash. So today at the library I happened upon the book The Rough Guide to Shopping with a Conscience. It is fantastically thorough in explaining how our actions as consumers affect the world around us.
