I found myself saying that Britt was not real over and over again. Autumn had escaped from her abusive husband, divorced him while he was in prison, returned to her maiden name, and moved back in with her mom. Trent had beaten her before he raped her and sent her to the hospital. She made a good life for her and her little girl thinking that she was finally safe. I adored Ethan who had lost his legs in a car crash when he was a boy. He had noticed Autumn as an adult and was attracted to her, but he was insecure about his handicap and thought that she looked at him with disgust and that had hurt his pride. BROKEN PATH IS A MUST READ! I just finished reading The Broken Path. It is a romantic suspense written by Cami Checketts. A woman is raising her child alone with nobody to help her but her mother. She meets a man at church who she falls for, but she’s afraid to let go and trust him. Will she put let her past go and open herself up to him or will she run him off? I really loved this book. I loved all the inspirational messages it had in it. I felt for all the characters. I especially felt for the little girl. I loved how much personality she put into the little girl. Many books that have children in them give them little to no personality. So it was quite refreshing to see this girl so filled with personality. I wish that there was parts that would have been more talked about. I also wish there would be a short story for years later. I find myself curious on what happens after. I know it sounds silly but it’s true. The author is very good about completely sucking a person into the book. It’s very amazing! I fully recommend this book. I’m sure there are many people out there who will love this book as much as I did. One of the best things about it is that it’s a clean romance. There is very little sexual parts in this book at all. I’m sure a lot of readers will appreciate that. I’m so glad that I had the opportunity to read this book. no reviews | add a review
