Pressures of the celebrity lifestyle weigh heavily on Dayne and Katy Matthews as they take on separate movie projects. Tabloid rumors talk of trouble and unfaithfulness between the two, but finally something drastic catches Daynes attention and makes him realize the destruction theyre playing with. But will it be too late? The Flanigan family recognizes the deep loss of the Christian Kids Theater program, and they lead a final effort to keep the theater from being torn down. Meanwhile, John Baxter takes the next step in his growing relationship with Elaine, giving him a season to contemplate selling the Baxter house and, along with it, losing a lifetime of memories made there. As the rest of the family considers the future and what may lie ahead, they must pull together like never before. Only their undying love for each other can help the Baxters get past the trials of today for a life they know is possible . . . someday. --From publisher description.… (more)

Loved the message that John the father gets about the importance of memories vs a house. Liked how Dayne handled the issue of the tabloid pics but hated how Katy reacted to him. Really came across the message that God will determine how events will play out in people's lives. ( )

This book deals with the whole Baxter family again, but more on Katy and Dayne and how their careers take a toll on their marraige. It also deals with Luke and Reagan and their rocky relatationship; John and Elaine and the next step of commitment for them, as well as all the other people. Karen Kingsbury does a good job of making you believe they are real people. ( )

I read all of Karen Kingsbury's book. They are heartwarming but pretty predictable. She churns out titles like my Uncle Jim used to churn out home made ice cream. Even so, I always ejoy her books to see how the Baxter family is faring.
