This was my first book by Barbara Delinksy and it was an interesting read! Grace and her mother are involved in a car wreck on the way home one night in the rain. They hit someone. Grace was driving—but her mother Debra takes the blame. The consequences and twists and turns go from there. I liked the way this one not only examined the accident, but also the interpersonal relationships within Grace/Debra’s family, and also the victim’s family. An interesting read that went in some unexpected directions! 4/5 stars.

Not as good as some of her others, but not bad either. I liked it, but I don't think I'll read it again. ( )

This book just seemed to drag a little for me. Between Deborah and Grace rehashing the accident in which Grace hits a man with her car and Deborah and Greg's divorce and so many other problems that they have, it just wasn't very exciting for me. I did like the way the main characters talked at the end and seemed to be on the way to repairing their relationships. ( )

This was just an okay book for me. It started out strong and then somewhere in the middle I was just over it. Although I would like to think that in the real world a teenager would really act as Grace did and end up making the decisions she did it just wasn't very believable to me. I kept thinking of my own and of their friends and how they would have behaved and I'm just thinking ummm probably not. ( )

I listened to this book in my car. I was intrigued as to how it would end and am guessing there may be a sequel. ( )
