This was TOTALLY one of my favorite books from back in the day. Loved seeing some of the familiar characters from her other books, and loved her use of different timelines. She will always remain one of my favorite fantasy authors. ( ![]() Meg is a grown up now and married. Her brother Charles is still a very special person. He needs to save the world by using his special telepathic talent. He has to connect with different characters from different places of the world, traveling in time. This is a great collection, but again has a strong Christian point of view. Meg Murray back once again draws us into her wonderful trilogy. Fascinating sci-fi concepts with great characters to carry on the great story line. Well... that was pretty bad, honestly. More of the same, with maybe a few less silly questions. The difference from the first 2 is that this one is more history lesson (the Welsh in the New World--in New England witch trials and moving to Patagonia. Here we're warned about presuming the worst of other people…now it's Charles Wallace's turn to save the world. The publishers here decided to switch the order of the books, making this one 3, instead of 4.
