Four siblings were living in a boxcar after their parents died until they were adopted by their grandfather. The children love to solve mysteries. In this book, the children visit their old friends, Mr. and Mrs. Piccolo, who own a pizza parlor in a small town. A new factory has been built and someone is sabotaging the pizza parlor! The children solve the mystery and discover that someone at the factory is trying to put the pizza parlor out of business. The owner of the factory finds out and pledges to help the Piccolo’s pizza parlor stay in business! I liked reading this book because it is not too long for elementary school students, but it is still a novel. However, I was not too impressed with this book as a mystery. Unfortunately, it is a reality that a large factory would try to put a small family-owned company out of business. I did not really feel like there was any suspense or surprise in determining who was behind the sabotage. 55370000108572 no reviews | add a review
