I've never seen a Jeanette Cook book I didn't like, but this has to be one of the best. The book starts with an introductory section of techniques, which are very clear with lots of helpful pictures that can be referred to whenever you're confused. Then there are a few project designed to show you the types of things you can do with peyote stitch. This is not a book to get just for the projects. They're really there just to get you to the point of designing your own things. It worked for me. Halfway through the amulet bag, it all gelled for me and I was able to make one of my own design for a friend. ( )
