parents give birth at the zoo and keep bringing home the wrong baby ( )

I liked the book "Alligator Baby". I like the plot of this book. The parents have their baby at the zoo instead of the hospital and have a baby switch, only the older brother realizes what has happened and that all the babies are confused. I also love the illustrations. They are whimsical and funny. They add to the tone of the story. The big idea of this book is getting a new sibling.

Kristen's parents accidentally have a baby at the zoo and bring home everything but a human baby. The parents return to the zoo multiple times and never bring back their baby. Kristen, a child, has to go there herself to retrieve her little baby sibling. This book is sure to make any child laugh. The silly and crazy ways of the parents are comical. The book has context clues that help children to guess what animal the parents brought home. ( )
