This book is a inspirational work of Christian fiction. It follows the story of Eli the wood cutter and the little wooden people he makes. One of the wooden people is different from the others and must learn to accept and love himself.
To tell the story the author uses personification to bring the wooden to life.
The book teaches about self acceptance and love. It would be a great addition to any class room. ( )

This is a sweet little book my grandmother gave me for Christmas. It's a fun little read and regardless of age, a kind reminder that you are enough just as you are. Obviously it is intended for children but even as an adult, I enjoyed it. ( )

This is one of my favorite children's books that teaches students to love themselves despite what others may think.
