Summary: Good historical information on the Viet Cong tunnel systems of the period of the US war in Vietnam. Excellent resource for inspiring deadly underground environments for various roleplaying game genres.

Game Masters, ever want to make those underground venues more gritty and realistic? This is a great book for painting a picture of a kobold or goblin warren. Make your players shiver with dread at the prospect of assaulting those "wimpy" short humanoids.

The book has pictures and descriptions of the "Iron Triangle" region of the Vietnam war. This area had deep clay soils that provided an ideal environment in which to build storehouses, factories, bunkers and tunnels under the jungle. The Viet Cong tunnel system was extremely effective for protecting their troops and material assets from the US military assaults.
