This is not a research book, nor does it try to be. What it is, is great for what it intends to be. ( )

This is a must have book for any reference library. It touches on just about everything dealing with humanity. Of course, it just scratches the surface, but that's understandable given it's vast subject matter, and that it's only one book. However, it's very well designed and easy to use. Lots of great photographs and illustrations as well. ( )
