WeeTurtle: These two books share a similar rhyme and meter, and the some of the illustrations in "I Like Myself!" are reminiscent of things in the Dr. Seuss universe.

Another Dr. Seuss classic! It was fun reading a favorite from my childhood, to my 2 year old granddaughter. She’s now the third generation in our family to appreciate his silly stories. And, as always, there’s a lesson to be learned… you can’t know what you like until you’ve tried it. ( )

I read this book for the "A Book With Food On The Cover" part of my 2018 reading challenge. Classic Dr. Seuss, one of my favorites. ( )

A true staple in the children's book community. Green Eggs and Hams follows a guy who doesn't believe that he likes Green Eggs and Ham and refuses to try it. Near the end of the book, he finally tastes it and actually likes it! This book is a great read from younger kids who are starting to become picky eaters and helps them realize that its good to try certain things!
