Rarer but fantastic book on book binding. It is extremely detailed rampant with beautiful handdrawn illustrations. (

This book not only demonstrates the steps of binding and re-binding books but gives instructions for making many of the tools out of easily available materials. It would be possible, though difficult, for a beginner used to hand tools to teach himself using it.
