Pig has found a treasure map and is going to dig for buried treasure. Enjoyable read with phonics guide in the back. Adorable illustrations. ( )

A cute book for beginning readers. Apparently, this series is designed to teach phonetics systematically (or some such thing). My son learned to read very easily, though, so I didn't pay too much attention to any sort of "system." (Or maybe these books did such a good job, I didn't have to worry about it). ;) ( )
