Joey Pelligrino a school friend of Michala's has encouraged her to open a riding center for teaching riding to autistic children. In order to raise money for the new riding center Michaela agrees to participate in a "polo match".

A “nasty” polo player is killed after this charity tournament in Indio. And, Michaela is the suspect. If she wants to clear herself, she will have to do her own investigation. Joey is there to get her info from his many, many cousins. And, Marianne, Joey’s wife takes on a more active role.

I really enjoyed this book, usually I get tired of reading about a same character, but this series has been fast paced and intriguing. ( )
