This DVD explores the life of William Wilberforce (played by Ioan Gruffudd) who embarked on a 20 year campaign to abolish Slavery in Britain. This is an inspiring story of a few abolitionists who were willing to speak out against this injustice despite slavery being acceptable and considered necessary to maintain a healthy economy. Wilberforce's faith in God is explored throughout the story and how it influenced the decisions he made. Well worth watching. ( )
