The fairies Fauna, Flora, and Merryweather are excited that they get to plan Princess Aurora's wedding to Prince Phillip, but unfortunately they can't agree on anything from invitations to cake design and everything in between! Will they ever be able to make decisions in time for the wedding?

This book is best for those who are already fans of Disney's Sleeping Beauty movie, as they will already be familiar with the characters and their personalities. True to form, Aurora is perfectly kind and has very little to actually say in her story; meanwhile, the three fairies are constantly bickering about the right way to do anything, resulting in messing everything up. Likewise, the illustration style is very similar to the film's animation, so it really is like re-visiting old friends.

The text is a little bit wordy but not overwhelmingly so; however, this is a book that would appeal more to elementary school-age children than preschoolers. ( )
