This study book has some good parts but is not a patch on the Petersen's book on which it is based. Some of the questions are at an elementary Sunday School level while others proved very difficult to understand. Most disappointing of all was to discover that the study guide skips many chapters in the source and thus many of the Songs of Ascent (Psalms 120 - 135) around which the original work is structured.

I suspect this is more the work of his ghost writer (lightly credited inside the book) than flowing from Petersen's pen and that perhaps the editors rushed it out rather than allowing it time to be properly polished. ( )
