AUTHOR: Dr. Jonathan Levi was a senior physician and consultant gastro enterologist who had been collecting treen for ten years, an interest shared by his wife and by his son, an antique dealer. Finding a dearth of literature on treen, Dr. Levi determined to share his learning and knowledge to inspire other collectors and so enlisted the help of Robert Young, a leading dealer in London and acknowledged expert of folk art in general and treen in particular.
