Sept. 2020 - Bogged down in Psalms through no fault of its own. But I did realize that a major drawback of a literal translation is that the poetry of the Psalms has been greatly reduced.
New American Standard Bible remains my favorite English translation. Although some criticize it, those understanding the Greek language and its tenses and moods appreciate the manner translators incorporated them into the translation. I prefer the old 1977 edition to the updated edition, but I still enjoy reading this text after all these years. ( )
Various printings and bindings of the NAS have been combined here. Please continue to combine any printing with the Old and New Testament texts only here. Please do not combine NAS editions that contain the Apocrypha with this work. Various "study editions" with extensive notes and aids should not be combined here. Please separate any that are here, and combine such editions as separate works.
This work is for complete NASB editions containing the complete Old and New Testaments. "Updated" 1995 edition may be included here as it is merely a new edition of the NASB, not a separate Bible version. Do not combine "study" editions here.
