Review: I thought this book was very informative. The main message of this book is to teach children about different cultures around the world. I think this book does that in a creative and engaging way. Having a common character, like Mickey Mouse, makes it easier for children to relate to. I also think that going around to different countries and then having Mickey Mouse and his friends actually participate in activities that the country does makes it easier for students to understand. For example, the author explains that France is a place that many people to travel to for their art and paintings; the author then has Goofy try to paint a picture like one of the artists. I think this makes it easer for children to find entertaining and keeps the readers engaged as they travel throughout the different countries.

Summary: In this book, Mickey Mouse and his friends visit different parts of the world. They visit nineteen different countries. During each of their visits, Mickey Mouse tells a fun fact about what people like to do in that country. He informs the readers all about different festivities, activities, and interesting things about their environment. ( )
