Kind of a weak mystery, with the focus completing on finding a kidnapped Ned Nickerson. But the real story here is Nancy dealing with her father Carson Drew having a new lady (and possible love interest) in his life -- Marty King, a lawyer practicing in his firm. Nancy was afraid Ms. King was also trying to steal her detective work away from her! Perish the thought. ( )
