Man oh man, do I love me some Bizarro. Next to Gary Larson, Dan Piraro is my favorite single-panel cartoonist, and this collection of his full color Sunday funnies does not disappoint. Piraro goes the extra mile with this collection, hand-picking his favorite strips, placing them in chronological order, and including notes below each one regarding the strip's creation, reader reaction, and anything else that comes to his mind. Ever wonder about the strange symbols continuously appearing in his Bizarro strip? Piraro tells all! A must for any Bizarro collection. ( )

Epigraph
Dedication
This book is dedicated to that guy in the car next to me at the light yesterday. He looked like he could use it.

Special thanks to my parents for screwing me up just enough to be a cartoonist.

Thanks to Katherine Baronet for all her design help.
First words
As I sit in the dark, dank, cavernous lower level of the vast underground cartoon archives beneath my fourteen-room luxury mobile home in downtown Dallas, it occurs to me that in the fifteen years I have been drawing Bizarro I have accumulated far more Sunday cartoons than I could possibly cram into one book, unless, of course, that book were as thick as this sentence is long.
