This is a fun and informative book about the environment! There are interesting facts about trees, animals, weather, and other different aspects of nature. The book is not only filled with interesting tidbits about our environment but it has different experiments, projects, and activities with your children and students. The Environment is full of adventures and experiments that can help a teacher explain to their students of what happens in our environment! This book is not only great for great for auditory learners but visual learners with the colorful illustrations throughout the book! ( )

This book gives an excellent introduction to the environment as it describes Earth’s water, land, and air. In addition to an explanation of what the environment provides for people and animals, there are also mini science experiments that go along with each chapter. This is a great book for all elementary levels as it can be broken up to accommodate any age group. Also going along with each chapter, there are examples of how communities can help keep the environment a clean and healthy living place. This book also has examples of the differ types of animals that live in each environment to demonstrate they need a healthy habitat just like people do. I rate this book a 5 out of 5 because the information is accurate and very useful. I also enjoy the additional information about community help. ( )
