great wealth of information that is not compiled anywhere else. for that, 5 stars. but it is a slow read at times. ( )

This book was long and a little hard to finish, but I am glad I read it. It is hard to comprehend just how hard it was to live back in those days (how many weeks it took to travel from Boston to Washington DC) and just how important the wives of the important patriots were. ( )
