The runaway super-teens return! The first half of this seemed to be light on "runaways" and heavy on "guest star" superheroes, which frustrated me. The second half, however, mostly made up for that imbalance - the story kept me turning pages. I liked all the action, even though the plot was all over the place.

New heroes were introduced that I wasn't crazy about and older characters left, which was sad. I enjoyed the small bit of time-travel included and wished there had been a bit more of it. I did really enjoy this read overall - just not as much as the first one. Looking forward to reading the last volume soon! ( )

Only a tiny fraction less excellent than Vol. 1. Some interesting new characters and exciting plot twists, but I'm slightly disappointed in the shift in focus from teamwork and friendship to romance. ( )

See my review for Vol. 1 if you really want to know how I feel about this. ( )

The second huge book of this series and I'm still in love. I hear there's a third compiled book coming out and can't bloody wait. ( )
