This would be a great read for any high school student, but especially visual learners. The pictures are riveting and evoke strong emotions. You cannot help but be interested in reading the captions and information on what was happening during the time the pictures were taken. You really get a complete sense of the events during the historical period of World War II from many different perspectives. It is an engaging and captivating book that will keep readers interested while they learn about World War II. ( )
