Ann Burton, author of the critically acclaimed Abigail's Story, traces Rahab's incredible journey from harlot to heroine. Shorn of her hair, stripped of her clothes, and cast out of her father's house, Rahab now scavenges the streets. I am a fan of biblical fiction. This is the fleshed-out story of what Rahab might have gone through to be the salvation of 2 Hebrew spies. The story is well written and gives a plausible storyline that is historically and biblically accurate. This is the first book of the Women of the Bible series offered by Signet. ( )

2nd in the series of "women of the Bible," this one tells about Rahab, the harlot who was the only one spared when the Jews conquered Jericho. Fascinating look at a woman who played a pivotal role in the Bible, but about whom not much is said. ( )
