No child will ever be lonely with a Pocket Pal. Pocket Pals are a great early reading resource, full of real information about animals from all over the world. Pocket Pals are appealingly shaped, easy to keep clean and eminently collectable. A sturdy die cut book just right for tiny hands and parents' pockets, each in the "Pocket Pals" series shows favorite animals and its activities. The simple text and pictures make observations about each animal's most common characteristics. This shaped board book features a black and white panda sitting in a bamboo forest. The text imparts some basic facts about these creatures; the baby is nursed frequently and is brought up alone by its mother. At the age of one, the panda sets out on its own. The concluding line calls for people to stop cutting down the panda's forest home. No library descriptions found. |
