This book is all about a boy who goes on wild adventures with creatures in his imagination. It's great for elementary school kids, and I have fond memories of it being read to me when I was younger. I would love to have it in my classroom to spark creativity and imagination in my students. It's best for kindergarten to 3rd grade. A really amazing childrens book, Where the Wild Things Are follows a young boy named Max who creates a whole imaginary world for himself in his mind. Near the end of the book he realizes the importance of the real world and his family. I would say that this book is a perfect read for kids around the ages of 5-7 AwardsNotable Lists
