As the city lay in ruins, God reveals to Chiaki that the devastation is her fault, Ororon's attack that she deflected away from the bounty hunter Jano having spurred her own latent powers into action. The implicit pacifist, Chiaki is horrified to learn that her very existence is responsible for such wide scale death and destruction. Ororon, an agent of death and destruction himself, attempts to comfort her, assuring her that none of it could be her fault, but nothing will allay her fear that something like this will happen again. But, while Chiaki deals with the nature of her existence, the Piti Pats ready themselves for a colossal battle. And elsewhere, Osero and Three Eyes have some unfinished business with each other to attend to.
