Proof positive that hidden gems are out there at your local library's sale table. I bought a hardcover copy of this book for a quarter in 1978 [and still have it today]. Sparkling social commentary on moral views 80+ years ago! Great atmospheric piece - you feel you're back in the "Roaring '20s" with Dot & Eddie and the crew. Makes me wonder what "modern" women would be referred to as today, by the author's views.
