Book description
The 27th volume in the long-running fantasy/history series, this is the story of Casca's struggle in the American Civil War from Sharpsburg/Antietam through to Appomattox, fighting at battles such as Fredericksburg, Gettysburg and the seige of Petersburg. Holding together the shrinking band of comrades is just one task the eternal mercenary has to endure, for the evil Brotherhood are closing in on him and intend taking him and keeping him captive for eternity.
