You know when you lose something and look away and then turn back and it is right in front of you, well this book explains that phenomena. An invisible wall sits between our universe and the next and whilst we cannot see it, they can, so have employed guards to patrol it. Occasionally an item, a set of keys, for instance will fall through the wall, at which point a guard will pick it up and shove it back through.

A young boy named Patrick is invited to participate in inter dimensional game show that helps reunite people with their beloved lost items. Travelling back and forth, he must find the item and get it to show if he is ever to get back home.

Part of a series and one I remember really fondly ( )

This is a great little blast from the past - a tight story with engaging characters. I'd recommend it for any kid who has an adventurous spirit.
