The moment the Grace family moves into the dilapidated Spiderwick Estate, strange things begin to happen. Two young boys move to a new house and find a mysterious book that is very special. They can all of a sudden see trolls and other amazing creatures, however the creatures want to book the kids love so dearly. They go on a quest to figure out how to destroy the book, which takes them into another reality where their Great Uncle has lived for hundreds of years.
