Do you know the unicorn watcher's song? A unicorn looks like a little grey horse, With a waving tail like a lion of course! But what's most important for you to know? One diamond hard horn on her head does grow, One single sharp horn with a bright coloured glow! Follow Red Rooster, Spotted Dog and Clyde the Horse through a wild romp across the Canadian Prairies. Why? Because we all know unicorns are lucky, and maybe even lucky enough to save the animals' farm. No library descriptions found. |

During one of these visits Rick was at a rural school and during the story telling session he created the "Last Unicorn of the Prairies" with the children. It obviously inspired Rick to publish the story, but it is more than that. This story is also about the creative experience that Rick had with a group of children, a story that worked and flowed and seemingly created itself. So "Last Unicorn of the Prairies" is more than just a story, it is an artist's homage to the magic of story telling. ( )
