Mary Tendall Etherington inherited a sampler quilt top made in 1898 by her great aunt Bernhardina "Amy" Andersen. This book includes 20 projects designed around individual block patterns from that quilt top. I bought this one for the small photos of the individual blocks in the original quilt, which show enough detail to identify specific fabrics.
