Detailed, realistic drawings on every page. An unusual amount of space devoted to swarming and the new queen. ( )

The illustrations in this book make spring and summer come alive! It shows us where bees live, work, how they see, the various jobs which bees carry out, how long a bee flies for, and on and on. It truly is all encompassing of a bee's live and habitat. It includes a beautiful illustration of honey jars and explain different ways to read the labels. At the end of the book it includes supplemental information about bees and honey. If only it told us more about how much the world needs bees.
