A fantastic collection of essays designed to encourage the reader to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the death of Jesus, and by extension, the Lord's Supper commemorating that event. Essays are written on the substance of the Supper itself, the death of Jesus in Scripture, the meaning of Christ's death, and exploration of hymns that speak of the death of Jesus. Many excellent thoughts for devotionals.
