*yawn*
I really don't understand the love for this series. The world-building is weak, the characters aren't interesting, it's littered with cheap fart-jokes. WTF? ( )

I really liked this series. From what I remember.
I need to read it again. It's been so long and there are so many more books in the series. ( )

Another fun filled fairy adventure from Eoin Colfer. I do really love this series, they manage to be compelling, funny and have a convincing story all at the same time, something which a lot of YA lacks.

This time Artemis is intent on rescuing his father from the clutches of the Russian Mafiya unfortunately along the way he is delayed by a goblin rebellion let by a mad pixie and a fairy out for revenge. My favourite kleptomaniac dwarf makes a very memorable reappearance as "The Grouch" and there are a whole host of new fairies (good and bad) to get to know.

Not as strong as the first book but still a wonderful and quick read, I will be diving into The Eternity Code soon! ( )

Artemis Fowl:Arctic Incident

Summary
Hello reader,
This story starts of in the Arctic, A russian group sinks Artemis I boat.
5 Years later
Now Artemis is trying to track down his dad's boat. He knows who did the crime but he doesn't have the firepower, so he asked the fairies, but the fairies are in a bit of a predicament, they are having a goblin uprising. They are getting illegal guns from Kaboi Labs.In Order to stop them Artemis and Holly has to infultrate the labs. But it turns out that they have plasma cannons which can erase a whole race. This means that they have to call in diggums to dig under the cannon and sink it under the ground. After the dust settles and it's all over the fairies came out superior. Also, The fairies helped Artemis find the boat

Review
This book is one of my favorite books because of the suspense, gunfights, and humor of this book………….First, there is a lot suspense such as ends of suspenseful fights. For example, when Diggums digged the whole under the plasma cannon and it fell down there was dust in the air and when it settled, it was gone.Secondly, There is a ton of gunfights. For example, When Artemis and Holly was in a gunfight with the russians it was very close and Holly got shot in the leg.Lastly, the humor in this book is funny. For example, Holly makes fun of Artemis and make hilarious jokes about his geniusness. In conclusion this is why I love this book.
