We loved this book as kids. There was the appeal of the photographs featuring real mice and other animals, and the cadence of the text made it a fun read-aloud. It was very different from the other books we had.
I loved this book as a kid, and have shared it with my nieces, nephews and daughter, who have also loved it. The photographs of real mice, dollhouse and other objects are fun to look at, and the text makes for a great read aloud.
I love this book! It was one of my first books and I still own it. I actually just read it the other day to my husband! What could be better than a mouse moving into a dollhouse with his friend? And the owners of the dollhouse actually LIKE the mice and feed them? It's illustrated with photographs, no drawings. That's one of the best things about this book.
