I saw this at the library and picked it up on a whim. The introduction almost put me off completely, but the main content was less off-putting, although I found it quite hard to follow - in fact I would say I felt I needed to know more about Magna Carta in the first place, just to read this book that says it's a brief history of it, which seems a little counterintuitive. ( )
