another fun adventure with a little more than just the fun. there's a tiny bit of politics and big picture governmental stuff that is touched on enough to be interesting and not too much to be overwhelming. there is a little suspense and author misdirection (my kiddo was definitely tricked) that was well done. the ending isn't a cliffhanger but makes the reading of the third in the series feel more urgent.

this is a great middle grade series. ( )

Another charming story with good development. Great to "see" Gregor and his family again. Looking forward to the rest of the series! ( )

Gregor continues his adventure, this time on a boat! Packed with action, mystery, and 'doing the right thing'. This is a wonderful series. ( )
